April Inspiration 2016

Aprils inspiration is oppression, as in the state of being oppressed.  Why such irony one may ask…?  Well because this topic will give me the perfect opportunity to explore and discuss the importance and power of knowing our own self worth thus leading us to the realm of unconditional love.

I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for all the years of feeling oppressed (both by my environment and myself) I wouldn’t be the woman I am today, ready to take on anything and everything.

I’ve come to realize for some time now just how identical we, as cosmic beings are to the Universe and all that surrounds us.  And that sometimes it takes being oppressed to be the very cause of and or give birth to true brilliance.  Like for example the big bang theory or what happens when we split an unsuspecting atom.  In both cases the general picture illustrates something small in size exploding into a massive scale beyond our own imagination.  Now let’s take these examples and apply it onto ourselves.  When a person is oppressed throughout their life, they are absorbing energy from every which direction the force is coming from.  What comes next is the result of how this energy “incubates” within us.  Are we our own worst enemy or our biggest fan?!  Over time this can be severely detrimental if this person doesn’t know their own strength, recognize their worth and overcome their adversities.  Something has got to give, one will either implode (in extreme cases, this results in suicide) or explode (in extreme cases, this results in the rebirth of ones soul).  Ideally oppression would always be the cause of awakening, fueling the will to conquer and grow or rebirth however sadly it is not always the case.  Sometimes the pressure becomes overwhelming and may lead self destruction.

SO why am I choosing to make this my inspiration?!  Because now that I’ve reached and surpass my “breaking point”, I am exploding like a supernova!!!  WE are the likeness of our Universe.  If there is one valuable lesson I can offer after having experienced life as I have, is this…Know that YOU and I are just as brilliant as the Universe itself and that we are the reflection of beauty all around us.  A supernova is an explosion that occurs when a star has reached the end of it’s life.  It’s been said that Supernovas can briefly outshine entire galaxies and radiate more energy than our sun will in its entire lifetime.  To me it translate as reaching the end of one era in our lives and a new era exploding into action.  The REBIRTH of oneself to be specific.  The more we dive inwards to understand our own mind, body and soul the more we exercise our brains to fathom the mysteries of our Universe.
